Introduction

The mission of the College of Basic Studies is focused on creating and maintaining a systematic and practical educational system to ensure that new students are properly educated in cultivating a Yeungnam type of personality.

The educational programs focus on three directions :

• (1) the education of human nature,
• (2) the education of basic studies for an individual major,
• (3) the education of global leadership.

The College of Basic Studies consists of the School of General Education, the School of Free Majors, and Chunma Honors School.
